There are many different definitions for eloping. But here’s what I believe it is: To have an authentic wedding where the focus is on the couple, their experience, and the intentional memories they hope to make and preserve.

I like to consider elopements “intimate weddings” because there’s structure yet no rules or traditions on how you have to spend your special day! It can be the two of you, your closest friends and family, on a mountain, on a boat, you name it! Let’s dive in a little deeper to what your elopement could look like with me!

As your photographer, I'll capture the essence of your love in candid, authentic moments as you’re experiencing the day. I give as much or as little direction you need to feel comfortable in front of the camera during portraits but for the most part, I’m snapping photos of the big and in-between moments.

But I'm more than just a photographer; I'm your planner, your ally in navigating the intricacies of elopement logistics. From securing permits for unique locations to coordinating transportation and accommodations, consider me your go-to guru for all things planning-related. Together, we'll craft an itinerary that reflects your vision and ensures a seamless, stress-free experience.

Whether you're feeling the adventure of a glacier hike, the tranquility of a kayak journey, or the thrill of landing somewhere remote in a helicopter, I'm here to make it happen. As your adventure guide, I'll lead you off the beaten path, and share secret spots that only Alaskans know of.

• We’re not from Alaska — How do we plan our elopement from afar?

  No worries, I got you! My hubby and I absolutely love Alaska and want everyone to feel the same when they visit. On top of being your photographer, I’m also you’re planner so when it comes to everything wedding, honeymoon, and adventuring, I have you covered! I’ll provide you with my Alaskan Adventure Guide that lists the best places to eat, hike, and visit. I’m also just a phone call away if you need me during your travels around the Last Frontier! 

• What if the weather is bad on the day of our elopement?

  I keep an eye on the weather leading up to your session. If it’s “bad” in the area we’ve chosen, the next option would be to move locations. If this doesn’t work, we will then discuss rescheduling. Not all “bad” weather is actually bad! Alaska’s weather is constantly changing and really sweet things happen in the landscape during those times. Let’s be adventurous and make the most of the weather! 

• How many images can we expect in our gallery and when will it be delivered?

  Each package options comes with a different amount of photos — you can expect to receive anywhere from 400-600+ images. Turn-around time for is 10-12 weeks but I’ll send you sneak peeks within 72 hours of your wedding day so you can show family right away! Then you will receive a gallery link to download your photos!

• Why is your lowest package 6 hours of photography coverage?

  I don’t offer anything lower than 6 hours of coverage for weddings because I truly believe you can’t capture enough of your story with less coverage than that. I’ve been in the industry for over a decade and tried countless times to document weddings and elopements in less time and it’s very rushed. I want to make sure you’re getting the best experience and value on your wedding day, and 6 hours is the best starting point to do so!

• Any advice for getting the best photos out of our special day?

  My best advice for clients is to BE YOURSELF! I’m here to document who you are as a couple and family. No need to be nervous, just excited and ready to have a fun adventure! I highly recommend making decisions based on the things you enjoy, your hobbies, and who you are as a couple. You want your day to reflect and celebrate who you two really are! Your photos will be authentic and the most “you” as well!

• Do you travel around and outside of Alaska for elopements?

  Heck yes I do! I will travel out of the state of Alaska or around the state of Alaska. Travel fees will apply depending on your desired location, so please contact me for a custom quote! My minimum wedding package for travel is Collection II.
