I'm a Michigander, but I've found my true home in Alaska's breathtaking landscapes since 2016. My calling and career is as a wedding and elopement photographer who’s passion is to document and promote the continuation of family legacy! As an artist, I strive to document sacred moments of life with a unique, fresh perspective to provide clients with emotion-filled images to be cherished for a lifetime. This includes timeless editing and an epic, adventurous client experience!

What sets me apart is my commitment to being more than just a vendor! I strive to be an integral part of your wedding, making you feel comfortable and at ease, and earning your trust as a friend and advocate. From the moment we start planning, to hiking mountains and taking helicopter rides, I'm there to support and celebrate with you every step of the way. I'm here to serve you during this special season of your life, providing not just beautiful images, but a personal and memorable experience.

SCHOOLING & EXPERIENCE

Photography has been my passion since I was 15, leading me to earn a Bachelor's in Fine Art Photography with a minor in Business & Communications from Western Michigan University. This education fueled my love for historical processes and film photography and opened doors to chase my dreams!

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside incredible wedding photographers, capturing hundreds of weddings and learning something new with each one. These experiences, along with my own journey as a bride in 2018, have helped me master my craft and create what I believe to by a pretty kick-butt experience for my couples and clients!

Beyond running my portrait photography business, I mentor Alongside running my photography business, I mentor other photographers, helping them grow their skills and businesses. I also host workshops to foster creativity, community, and learning, which I’m especially passionate about here in Alaska!

LIFE IN ALASKA

Whether hiking, biking, camping, or enjoying craft beer and games at a local brewery, my family and I embrace all the adventures Alaska has to offer! We’re passionate about adventure and photography, taking annual international trips to hike and explore stunning landscapes—some of which have inspired clients’ honeymoon itineraries I’ve shared on my blog.

Being a bride gave me invaluable insight and creativity that I pour back into my business. Overall, my heart is to glorify God with the gifts He has blessed me with and to serve others through my work. I would love to work with you, tell your story, and adventure together in Alaska or around the world!
